Kiln-dried joinery
Mortise-and-tenon frames, wedged and glued for a lifetime of daily use.
Still & Oak began in a two-person joinery shop with a simple rule: if a joint can't be repaired, it isn't finished. Every sofa starts as kiln-dried hardwood, cut and fitted by hand, then upholstered in natural fabrics chosen to age gracefully. We make fewer pieces, slowly, so they stay with you.
“A good chair should outlive its owner.”
Mortise-and-tenon frames, wedged and glued for a lifetime of daily use.
Wool, linen, and leather that soften with age and can be re-covered.
Free structural repairs for as long as you own the piece.
